  2. Installing Above & Beyond 3.1 is Easy

  8. 2. Start Above & Beyond

  12. The installation process allows you to select where you would like
  13. to put Above & Beyond files. The directory you name will be created
  14. if it doesn't already exist, and the files will be installed from 
  15. the diskette to this target directory. Use the Install program 
  16. whether you are installing for the first time or updating from a 
  17. previous version.

  20. Step 1: Insert the Above & Beyond diskette into drive A:. From the
  21. Windows Program Manager, Select Run from the File pull-down menu and
  22. type:

  27. When Install asks if you'd like to have a Program Mgr icon created,
  28. answer Yes.

  31. Step 2: Start Above & Beyond by double-clicking on the icon.

  36. Installing Above & Beyond for a LAN Workgroup

  39. Install Above & Beyond on each PC as described above, but designate
  40. in the command line a data path on the server. Designate an unique  
  41. directory for each user's data file. For example:

  46. on workgroup use.
